One
Thurdsay in Feburary Your roving
photographer (Grant) spent the day in the
City of Sydney. Travelling by train and
getting off at Town Hall Station I walked
across Pitt Street and over College St and
into Hyde Park. There I saw men playing
with the giant chess pieces. A nice young
asian girl took this << pic for me
and I shot the fountain on the
right>> where a busker was playing
his guitar. I wandered north towards the
Harbour.

Walking past Hyde Park barracks I got some
great shots of the Queen Victoria - King
George - and Arthur Phillip Statues
(See them my Photos page) and Down
past the Domain. The Opera House Came into
view and I captured this image >>
and spent some time looking at the people
and the boats on the
quay.

There
was a Hugh Ship at the Quay from Denmark
and having plenty of time to kill I
grabbed some Hungary Jacks and caught one
of the many ferries. My City Cat took me
to Watsons Bay and back and was Free with
my Day Rover pass. A real bargain it was
only $2.50 for the whole
day.

A
couple were taking each others photo in
front of the Bridge and kindly took one
for me :)- Riding up the escalator up to
Circular Quay Station I caught the
electric train back to Hurstville via
Kogarah.
The
Photograph below was taken from the
